The Advisory Board
THE PEOPLE HELPING SHAPE WHAT COMES NEXT
The future of work will not be built by one voice. It takes people who each bring something the rest of us still need, and who are willing to carry an idea forward together.
That's what the Advisory Board is for.
Our Advisors are people who want to contribute to the mission of Executive Unschool, the Work Recovery movement, and the broader future of work through our research and our give-back arm, the Work Wound Institute®. They lend their expertise, their perspective, and their lived experience to the questions we're asking and the work we're building.
Their role is to help shape our direction. As Executive Unschool grows from a publication into an institution, the Board helps us decide which conversations deserve attention, how our research reaches the women who need it, and how the Work Recovery movement expands beyond our own community. When we shape the future of Executive Unschool, we're helping shape the future of work itself.
This is where that work gets guided by people who believe the questions are worth carrying together.
Meet the Advisors
Besides Founder Bree Johnson, we have on the Advisory Board…
Jess Burgio
is a personal brand strategist and the founder of House of Authority, where she helps high-achieving women turn their voice, visibility, and lived experience into real influence and income. She guides women out of being the "best-kept secret" and into becoming trusted leaders, refining their messaging, building their platforms, and creating businesses that reflect their next level of impact, and she hosts The Jessica Burgio Show, a podcast about confidence, content, and building a business and a life that feels aligned and expansive. Her work meets our mission at the moment a woman begins to trust herself again and gets to decide how she wants to be seen. It's an "and": the quiet work of coming back to yourself, and the public work of being known for it.

GET INVOLVED
Maybe you've spent a career learning something the women coming after you still need. Maybe you've lived through one of the Work Wounds and know exactly which questions we should be asking.
Or maybe you simply believe the future of work is worth building on purpose, by people willing to carry the idea together. If that's you, there's a place for you here. We're always looking for advisors, collaborators, and contributors who want to help shape where this work goes next.
