ABOUT THE PODCAST

The podcast for people who believe life gets more interesting when we ask better questions.

Wondering tends to open more doors than certainty ever does, and that's the whole premise of this show. Some of the biggest shifts in our lives start the moment we ask a better question, and the one I keep coming back to is simple: how good can it get?

That question has followed me through career pivots, boardrooms, burnout, motherhood, leadership, entrepreneurship, painful work wounds, and healing. Possibility has a funny way of showing up the moment we stop assuming we've already seen everything on offer.

If you've ever caught yourself thinking there has to be another way, you're going to feel right at home here.

EXPECT CONVERSATIONS THAT…

Make you laugh before they make you think. Challenge ideas you've accepted without realizing it. Leave you looking at your own life a little differently. Introduce you to fascinating people doing unusual work. Remind you that ambition and joy can share the same room. Help you imagine possibilities you hadn't considered before.

You won't find doom-scrolling bait, hustle worship, or anyone pretending to have life all figured out. What you will find is curious conversation about work, leadership, creativity, relationships, business, intuition, courage, and what becomes possible once we stop living on autopilot.

AROUND HERE WE ASK QUESTIONS LIKE

What if success felt lighter? Why do we assume work has to leave us exhausted? How do remarkable leaders actually make their decisions? What makes a life feel expansive instead of just impressive? What if the thing you've been chasing isn't quite what you're looking for?

HOW GOOD CAN IT GET?!

MEET YOUR HOST

Hi, I'm Bree. I publish Executive Unschool, where ambitious women rethink everything work taught them, and the podcast is where those ideas get room to breathe.

Some episodes are me unpacking an observation I've been carrying around. Others put me across the table from someone whose work changes how I see the world. Now and then we simply follow our curiosity wherever it leads, because the conversations worth having rarely fit neatly into a category.

Ep. 143 — How Good Can It Get? — What I Actually Mean When I Say It

I really wish someone had handed me this one question earlier in my career, back when I was climbing and striving and sure that the next title would finally make me feel like myself. How good can it get? I say it all the time on this show…

Ep. 144 — What Is Work Recovery and How Do You Know You Need It?

I built the thing I most needed, and in this episode I finally lay it all out for you. There is a version of exhaustion that sleep does not fix. You can leave the job, take the vacation, change the boss, and finally close the laptop at 5:00, and…

Ep. 145 — The Whisper That You've Outgrown the Way You Work

I came back from a summer that expanded me in ways I'm still catching up to, and the first thing I felt was a pull to make sure I wasn't leaving any of you behind. Before I tell you where we're going, let me tell you where I've been. This summer held…
