PRIVATE EXECUTIVE RETREAT

PRIVATE RESET RETREATS FOR LEADERS CARRYING MORE THAN ANYONE REALIZES

Where STRATEGY and WORK RECOVERY meet

Private reset retreats for leaders carrying more than anyone realizes. The plan is not the problem. The pace is. This is space to think clearly again, before the next decision gets made for you.

By invitation and application. A handful of these each year.

THE OPENING TRUTH

From the outside, everything looks successful. Closer in, the decisions carry more weight, the pace rarely eases, and the next chapter is asking questions that no strategic plan can answer. You have gotten very good at holding it. The team, the number, the version of you everyone counts on. And somewhere underneath the holding, a quieter question keeps waiting for a moment you never seem to give it. That moment is the work here. Not a vacation you will spend recovering from. Not another offsite that ends with a document nobody opens. A private reset, built around the one thing your calendar keeps deprioritizing: your own clear thinking.

THE DISTINCTION

Most retreats ask you to choose. This one refuses to.

Strategy retreats sharpen the plan and ignore the person running it. Wellness retreats soothe the person and leave the actual decisions untouched. You go home relaxed on Sunday and underwater by Wednesday. A Private Reset holds both at once. It is an "and."

Your nervous system and your P&L. The part of you that needs rest and the part of you that still has a company to lead. Work recovery is not the opposite of ambition. It is what makes clear ambition possible. You cannot think strategically from a depleted system, and no framework fixes a decision you were too fried to make well. So we do the unglamorous thing almost no one designs for. We regulate the system first, then we think. Recovery and strategy in the same room, in the right order.

Private Resets are built for executives, founders, and small conscious leadership teams moving through a real transformation or inflection point.

WHO IS THE RETREAT FOR

You might be here because of:

→ A leadership transition, into a bigger seat or out of one you have outgrown

→ Organizational change you are steering and privately absorbing

→ Team conflict that has quietly become yours to carry

→ A career crossroads with no obvious right answer

→ Growth that no longer feels sustainable at the current cost

→ Reconnecting with purpose after years of achievement that stopped feeling like yours

If everything looks fine on paper and something underneath it does not, you are exactly who this is for.

WHAT A PRIVATE RETREAT LOOKS LIKE

Illustrative only. Every retreat is built from scratch, so frame this as an example arc, not a fixed itinerary.

  • 100% rated

Management Retreat designed and delivered by Bree Johnson as exceeding expectations in the ability to engage and build connections with coworkers, increase knowledge and enhance skills through practical application.

  • Worth the Investment

I would tell anyone that a private executive retreat is worth the investment and that they will only get out what they put in. It is a collaborative, open effort that will only "work" if you are open to doing the hard work of being seen and heard, and hearing others and seeing others.

  • New level of Engagement

Having a third party facilitate a retreat like this brings a new level of engagement for all levels. It's less about teams talking at each other, but more about working WITH each other. Loved it and can't see a retreat being executed any other way.

  • Highly recommend!

I would highly recommend leaders work with Bree because she brings in concepts that aren't usually part of the normal, fluffy leadership training regiments out there.

There is no package to pick from. Each retreat is shaped around your goals, your moment, and how you actually think.

To make it concrete, here is how a private two to three day reset often unfolds.

ARRIVE AND DOWNSHIFT

Before any strategy, your system has to believe it is safe to slow down. We begin with nervous system regulation and real rest, so the thinking that follows comes from a settled place instead of a braced one.

NAME THE REAL QUESTION

Facilitated dialogue to surface what you are actually navigating, underneath the version you present in meetings. Often the presenting problem is not the problem. We find the one worth your attention.

THINK WITHOUT THE NOISE

Think without the noise. Strategic reflection with room to breathe. We work the decision or the crossroads with structure and honesty, and none of the performance leadership usually requires.

INTEGRATE SO IT HOLDS

Spacious time to let insight settle into something you can actually carry home. You leave with clarity you can feel on Monday, not a high that fades by Wednesday.

Woven throughout, as the moment calls for it: facilitated dialogue, strategic reflection, Work Recovery practices, nervous system regulation, guided experiences, and unstructured time that does more work than it looks like it does.

WHAT YOU LEAVE THE RETREAT WITH

You leave with more than a plan.

What stays with you is renewed clarity about how you want to lead and how you want to live, and the self-trust to act on both. The decision you were circling becomes clearer. The pace you accepted as permanent becomes a choice again. And the version of you that shows up to the work has room to think and create and lead like herself again.

HOW I WORK WITH YOU

I spent fifteen years inside the rooms most of these decisions get made in. As an employment attorney, I sat with what happens when work wounds people and the organization looks away. As a C-suite leader, I made the calls and carried the weight you are carrying now.

I have facilitated executive teams through massive change, and I have led women through work recovery on the other side of achievement that cost more than it should have. I know the boardroom and the courtroom, and what it takes to rebuild your own clarity after both.

That combination is the whole point of this work. The strategic rigor to think through the hard decision without a dropped detail, and the recovery practices to make sure you are whole enough to make it last when you leave the retreat.

I don't "guru" you with a system or upsell you after the retreat. Instead, I curate hard conversations about work and the way you're working, trusting that you have every ability to shepherd the transformation once we wrap our time, with fresh perspective and insights. You'll also have integration sessions after the retreat, so what happened there stays with you long after you leave.

THE INVITATION

Interested in the Private Retreat?

This begins the way everything real does. With a conversation.

Tell me where you are and what you are moving through. If it is a fit, we design your reset from there. If it is not, I will tell you honestly and point you toward what would serve you better.
