The Work Recovery® Audit

Identify what work may be asking you to recover from.

Our Work Recovery® audit is a four-minute self-discovery experience designed to help you put language around what work has been asking you to carry.

Through 16 questions, you’ll explore signals connected to four common Work Wounds: Burnout, Bullying, Bad Behavior, and Betrayal.

Your result will reveal the Work Wound taking up the most room right now and offer a starting point for your recovery. If no wound produces a strong signal, you may receive Reclaimed Ground, reflecting greater capacity, safety, alignment, or recovery in your current relationship with work.

Who Should Take the Quiz

It’s for ambitious professionals, leaders, and founders who sense that work has left something behind. While it’s a purely educational and self-discovery tool, and not intended for legal or medical advice, you’re sure to learn about how work has cost you something that you might not have recognized yet.

You may see more clearly how you’ve been experiencing these common signs:

  • Exhaustion that time away has not resolved

  • A difficult person or workplace dynamic that changed how you behave

  • Resentment about conduct you were expected to tolerate

  • Grief after a role, leader, or organization failed you

  • Difficulty leaving work at work

  • A desire to understand what happened before deciding what comes next

You do not need to prove that your experience was awful enough to deserve attention.

The Audit offers language, reflection, and a place to begin your work recovery.

TAKE THE WORK RECOVERY® AUDIT

After receiving your result, you’ll explore how your Work Wound may present across the three phases of the Work Recovery Method®:

Regulate

Rewire

Reclaim

Each phase reflects a different level of capacity, awareness, and readiness.

The phase guides will help you recognize where you are now, understand what may be available to you, and choose support that fits your current experience.

The Work Recovery® Audit is an educational and informational resource. It does not provide legal, medical, psychological, or mental-health advice, diagnose any condition, or create a professional relationship.

Not sure which Work Wound is creating the strongest signal for you? Take our four-minute Work Recovery Audit for a personalized starting point on what might be showing up for you as career chaos and frustration.

When your first need is enough safety, space, and capacity to recover, this is where you start, no matter the work wound that may be showing up the most for you.

Rewire may fit when the intensity has eased, but old work patterns still shape your choices, reactions, and expectations. You now have enough capacity to examine what the experience taught you.

Reclaim may be the phase that feels most familiar when your attention is no longer organized entirely around what happened, what it cost, or how to prevent it from happening again.

You have enough capacity to consider what you want your work and life to hold now and you recognize it’s time to dream again.
